    Hey guys.

Just thought I'd post a pic of a guitar I picked up today:

After I took redundancy from my job on Christmas Eve last year due to years of breakdowns etc I thought I'd treat myself

I'm actually really enjoying the EMGs too, makes a nice change of pace from what I usually use.

EDIT: Just realised I didn't actually put what it was for those that may not know It's an LTD EC 401. Far Eastern made somewhere around middle of the range I think. Comes stock with EMG 81 (b)/60 (n) and Earvana nut.

      LOL, cheers Don

I've had to tighten up all the pots and control knobs and give the switch a good clean, but I really can't complain for the money

Looks like it could use a good intonation. With the Earvana nut, the bridge saddles will be almost straight across (the nut does the major compensating instead of the bridge).

Congrats, those are great guitars!! I've thought about picking up a second one, or even selling a few I have and getting and Eclipse.

It'll be going to my tech within the next few weeks for my standard setup, so I'm sure he'll sort the bridge. It sounds like it's not too bad at the minute though.

Beautiful guitar right there. I might be picking up a LP styled axe sometime this year. Enjoy it.

I'm really liking it so far. I need to lower the action a tad but aside from that it plays really well.
