What is that? It has an unusual shape to it or is it the pic?

As cool as the gold top itself is (especially with the cream WCR's), its the back that really stands out on this one. Its perfect, Gibson should make them like this instead of that light caramel color.

            that dark back is killer!!

I was never big on goldies. I once got a great deal on a gt LTD EC400 and the color really grew on me.. I wish I had her back.. Here is my current goldilocks:

Actually its not a dark back. More medium. Real dark backs are very very dark, almost opaque black unless the light is on them, then they take on a wine hue.

Funny, I prefer the light finish on the backs.

I've owned two of guise ESP EC 400s and they were great players. One had a very light back andvyhe other was black. Odd.

I have a Carvin singlecut goldtop and I will soon own a Hamer Studio Custom goldtop.

It's a Fernandes Ravelle. That's not the pic, that's the actual shape of the guitar. Great sounding and playing guitar, but I wanted that Pro/Fx very badly. Had a Jazz neck and JB bridge. The real deals, not the designed models, although I love the Duncan Designed Jazz.

By the way, AWESOME thread Dali. The guitars in this thread are giving me much too serious G.A.S.
