  • Schecter Avenger Blackjack ATX

    Hey Guys,

Just wondering what your opinions are on these are? Been eyeing them up recently, and they're discontinued now I think, so if you like em, you better get on fast.....

    Anyway, anyone played one??

The one downside for my is the inlay, but I could live with it....
LtKojak, on the theory of having too many guitars...

Also, I'd like to remind you that the very concept of having "too many guitars" just doesn't exist. It's been selfishly created by parents and/or girlfriends/wives to lure you to stay away of your passions just to have more of YOUR money and YOUR time at THEIR disposal!

I always thought the Avengers looked cool. never tried one though. few stores stock 'em, and I'm not too keen on shelling out for one, considering none of them seem available from the high-end lines.

The ATX might still be in stock at drum city guitarland, and last time I checked the hell raiser avenger was still stocked (and cheap!) at musicians friend. Every schecter I have played seemed really good for the cash.

True, but there are no Drum CIty Guitarlands or Musicians Friends in Australia haha, although I know that musicians friend can ship internationally on used items, the hellraiser avenger is quite nice, and there are two used!!

Drum city guitarland is an online store as well, but I'm not sure if they ship internationally.

The Avenger reminds me of a backwards Mockingbird.

Thats what I used to think, but that was back when I loved the Mockingbird, now I prefer the avenger because it isn't as metal looking (it is still very metal in my opinion though!)

They need to make a reverse model of those.
