HRIt started for me with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in 54 on a Blues Harp and progressed , then life .....some death ....Evolving as I went like a small rock in a stream rounding out as I went with the flow as I go through the white waters and waterfalls of life . Ok, I'll break it down. The body was the most expensive part, $220. But, we're talking light weight swamp ash with a perfect finish (imo) and routed for a humbucker and included the entire control plate with pots and the bridge. The JB was $45 used, GFS mini $35 new, pickguard $19, tuners $34. I think that covers the major expenses.

I think the only thing that could improve that guitar at all would be a tortoise pickguard...but that's just preference.

The GFS is killer, I hope more people try out this pickup, but there are only so many of us with minibucker guitars. It is exactly what I want a neck bucker to sound like, fat, warm, but also clear and very tight for high gain soloing.Originally posted by oilpit View PostComment
