One of the best adjustments I've made recently is in the picks and strings dept. I currently have a set of thomastik flatwound classical s strings (flatwound EADGB in the same tension as a regular nylon/silverplated set) and my old yamaha acoustic has become a fantastic tool for pickup jam sessions, with steel strings!
I have a leftover RW/RP duncan surfer, and I was wondering if there was a way to mount it in the soundhole without wrecking my guitar. I wouldn't mind mounting it above the 18th fret either as I can't reach (no cutaway) and it will probably get a great tone.
So how do I mount this?! I would like for it to be removable, so I'm thinking a clamp of sorts might do the trick. Obviously a cable jacket >1/4'' plug would solve the connection issue, i jst need a mounting solution!
