  • Do I need to do any thing to a lite ash strat

I bought a lite ash strat from samash recently. I bought it because it is the best out of country guitar made. And it sounds better than an american strat because of the seymourduncan pickups it comes with. Fighting words i know but go to ur local shop and try it out. Do I need to do anything to this guitar out of the box. Thats right i'm open to reccomendations. haha i'll definitly get some,

The Aps's in that are more than you need, they are really nice. You really dont need to do anything to it unless you see that it needs to be done. Thats a nice guitar.

I've played a couple of 'em and I like 'em very much straight out of the box, after it's set up and your strings are on I'm sure you will love it.

You need to replace the bridge pickup with a Hot Rails, get a Soldano stack and be the greatest thing to happen to speed/thrash disco-pop metal.

The lite ash guitars are made by Samick and mostly they need a full set-up...this involves leveling, polishing the frets, truss rod adjustment and set the intonation. IMO this should be done to ALL guitars that are new...after that it will play better that you could ever imagine.
