  • Made in Korea????

I got some Fender Replacement tuners for my Malmsteen strat- the original 70s F tuners...

On the package they say Made in Korea....

When I take the housing off the tuner before installing it, the inside of the tuner- the metal parts- are stamped Made in Germany....

So it's hard to tell what the deal is

Could be assembled from German parts in Korea...

or, they copied them down to the inner stamp.

LtKojak, on the theory of having too many guitars...

Also, I'd like to remind you that the very concept of having "too many guitars" just doesn't exist. It's been selfishly created by parents and/or girlfriends/wives to lure you to stay away of your passions just to have more of YOUR money and YOUR time at THEIR disposal!

I'm guessing the actual machine is German Schaller, shipped to Korea, where they put on the F stamped cover.

That's probably the closest to the real story as you can get.
