    Finally broke out the camera and got some good pics of the LPC

    Had some time, so I decided to take some good pics of the custom since I never did back when I first got it last christmas.

    So this is my official new guitar day "pics"

    '09 LP custom, 100% stock (for now lol) and she plays like butter. Weighs in at about 10.5 lbs. Neck is 'almost' dead flat. Sounds nice and loud acoustically. Plugged in, she is very fat and "full" sounding, lots of natural mids. Not overly bright or dark. Ebony board is nice and smooth to play on and the fatter frets make bending easy.

      Also, I'd like to remind you that the very concept of having "too many guitars" just doesn't exist. It's been selfishly created by parents and/or girlfriends/wives to lure you to stay away of your passions just to have more of YOUR money and YOUR time at THEIR disposal!

                  Nice. Is that nut cut from factory? Looks more shallow than what I see in most stock guitars...

                          Really making me miss my 05, right now. How's the neck on yours? I couldn't get past the fat shoulders on mine, which is why it finally moved on. It was the guitar that turned me on to the 498T/490R combo.

                            I actually like the fatter neck on this one. The 60's neck that was on my old classic always felt too flat in my hand. It would actually make my hand cramp. This neck fits like a glove though, I really like it

                              yep, factory nut. I like my slots on the shallower side too. Im not 100% convinced it's corian though......I think it might be plastic. Im not gonna cry over it too much though even if it is plastic.
