  • Jimmy Page guitar?????????

    Ok so first off I hope this is the right section for this post. In the link provided http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32Yk1...yer_detailpage Jimmy Page is playing with Aero Smith. @ 3:50 JP come out on stage with his guitar and on the back side it looks like there is a huge cover on it. Anyone have any idea what that is all about?

    That Les Paul has a B Bender installed on it.

    The cover covers up the mechanics of the B Bender.

      Look on the front of the guitar under the stop bar...you'll see a hub that bends the B string when the levers are actuated via the strap...

            Jimmy has one on an old Telecaster and that red LP...I think Page might have been the first guy to ever have one one an LP.

              It's a really neat idea for sure!

              If you are good at it they can sound very cool...if you are not good at it they are horrible sound.
