  • Pickup replacement

So, I am definitly getting the Epi G-310 in about a week or so and I have enough money to by a JB for the bridge at the same time. I want to learn to install the pickup on my own. I have done simple electronic work my freshman year of highschool on those little circuit boards that you sold the resisters and stuff and make the little LED light up, so I know how to solder decently. But what Equipment will I need for the soldering job? Roughly how much money will a Soldering Iron and the material cost and do you guys have any suggestions on any particular soldering iron? Also the G-310 has 2 volume 2 tone controls is this schematic the one I would use for the job? http://www.seymourduncan.com/website...way-w-spl.html
I also heard of the pots going bad after a while on Epis so I would like to replace those while I am already doing the Pickup replacement, which ones go well with a 59n JBb pickup combo? Also where could I buy the Pots?
    THanks for replies in advance.
