    Got it sounding a little better. Rewired it this time with some new 500k pots that I pulled out of a guitar, and just bypassed the switch. Lowered both pickups and raised the screws on both. Both pickups sound about perfect with the volume on about 9. Maybe I'll mess with magnets and swapping pole pieces today.
