By posting a thread about your amp and pedal, I'm guessing you're looking to upgrade.
First question is.....do you have money? Because that's the only factor.
Plenty of us know gear from blues to metal, so the only issue is figuring out what you need and how much it costs.
A DSL is a good Marshall, but you could spend up to $4500 to upgrade...from ENGL to Bogner to Diezel etc. You could also upgrade the OD pedal a thousand different ways.
So are you "thinking" or are you "shopping?"
I can think of 10 amps that will kill a DSL.....provided you sell the amp, add a bunch of money, and buy. I can think of 100 OD pedals that will kill a TS-9, but they're twice as much.
