I have seen a guitar that has a mahagony body and mahagony top with a maple neck and ebony fret board. I wanted to know that the sound difference given the same pickups would be vs. a mahagony body and maple top with mahagony neck and rosewood fretboard?

Re: guitar woods and sound difference
usually ebony will have a bit stronger attack particularly in the high end where rosewood will overall be warmer in sound."It keeps you fit - the alcohol, nasty women, sweat on stage, bad food - it's all very good for you." -Bon Scott
"Let me put it this way: the 5150 will treat
you better than any girlfriend, because it screams louder, it's easier to pick up, and it shuts up when you take your plug out." -Rip Glitter
