I started a thread for it, but probably belongs here. Building a Warmoth Tele. I had been thinking about one, and now scratching together the funds to put something together. Looking at two-color sunburst (tobacco-burst) with maple neck with vintage tint. Still getting parts so more to come!

Made a template for a body for a friend



And accidentally started making another guitar, Ash body with maple veneer top, Bubinga
/Wenge neck



Made a fret slotting mitre box that I should have done ages ago



Indian Rosewood fretboard on a 25" scale length



Sanded back the stain to highlight the flame



Stained again, looks a little purple in the pic but goes a lovely navy blue with finish

Yes, modern construction. 22 frets. Original slim and Warmoth radius.

I couldn't pass it up... $210 with vintage tint finish. Was a great deal.

Yeah, some of those necks are quite a value. I have two with the side adjust. Set them up the first time and that's it. One I've had for two years and it's never needed to be re-adjusted. The other one is just installed. Congrats. Looking forward to seeing your build.

Trying a new finishing method, anyone else used Solarez UV-Cure resin before?
Tried some stain on an Ash scrap and liked it so I stained the back and sides to match
