Not too sure about that fitting. If it is a newer one the bodies are considerably thinner so I would think there would be considerable movement in the case. Why get a Gibson case doesn't Ibanez make a nice hardshell case for it?

I have a Samick "Artist" that looks like a LP double cut except with 2 vol, 2 tone and the toggle on the top horn.

It looked like it would fit in a LP case but it didn't work.

The width across the lower body (bout?) is just a tad too wide and the Paul cases are pretty snug.

Don't know how the Samick compares to your Ibanez but just wanted to give you a heads up.

me too. marshall should make cases. out of the same tolex they make their amps with. that would be a really good advertisement. don't ya think?

Are you going to be doing a lot of gigging/playing with it?, cause if you are then get a proper hard case like a hiscox as it will survive the knocks. Otherwise you may find that your Gibson case will soon get scruffed and tatty and you may be having to buy another one to replace it. If not get a Gibson case JMHO.

lol, yea it's an ibanez. i think it's shaped exactly like a doublecut les paul? hopefully the case won't know the difference...

What kind of Artist? I think half the guitar companies have an artist model.
I'm assuming Ibanez. I think so, as long as the Gibson case doesn't object. LOL

i need a hardshell case for my artist.

i want a case that will fit it without it moving around, i really don't want to buy a universal one. will my artist fit in a les paul case? it seems like it would. i don't want to go to a music store and try it.
