My shop partner was wiring in a set of Lindy Fralin P-90s for an Epiphone LP Jr today... He wired everything up, but it was noisy. Checked the ground wire - it's solid, but no signal. Pulled the bridge stud insert.... They had the wire in the hole, but wooden shims were between the wire and the stud insert. Easy fix, but it should have never left the factory that way....
