    I like the big headstock too. Not crazy about the Tele pups though. I'd probably swap them out for lipstick-tubes to retain the look. I especially love this in the Natural color.

      I dislike tele neck pickups and the CBS headstock isn't my favorite. I'm going to have to pass on this one.

              the bridge humbucker has a lower output than the single coils and is kind of squeely with lots of gain.
              Lower output or lots of gain.... Which is it? It can't be both.

                You can have lots of gain on a lower output pickup. Look at Slash and Billy Gibbons.

                      You certainly can boost the signal lots of different ways after the pickup, from distortion to EQ pedals to onboard preams.
