Those who have plave the Squier Contemperary Active Jazzmaster, whats your thoughts on them? I havent played a Squier Jazzmaster but have played a couple Squier Strats and for the money felt like a decemt guitar.
Local place has a used Contemp Jazzmaster with EMGs either the Fat55 or Fat70s pickups installed for not much more than what the pickups alone cost new.
