If your LP has the nut on the front of the tuner, that holds the tuner on( like on a LP Standard ), then yes...they will fit. If your LP has the push on bushing on the front of the tuner, ( like on the LP Classic ), then no, they won't fit. You'll need to have the holes routed if your LP uses the push on bushing.Only The Strong Survive

I upgraded my son's LP special to Grover 18:1 chrome tuners. I had to purchase a 10mm wood drill bit to route the holes. I also recommend using a wood ream to bevel the edges of the original holes so you won't chip or crack the finish when drilling.~Sid

they wouldnt fit on my '03 standard. Had to be drilled/reamed out...Low wattage rocks!

What year is your LP???? I have a 2003 standard with the standard Grover made Kluson tuners and they are ROCK SOLID. Some of the best tuners I've used. I don't don't notice a difference compared to my locking Schallers for consistency.Comment
