      YES!! All of the guitar tracks on our upcoming debut album are tracked with a B.L.U.E. The Ball mic. It has an incredibly clean midrange, and can withstand 165 dB.

                      I had good results with a death metal band I recorded using Sennheiser MKH-40s. Normally condensers don't quite do it, but in this case it was really nice...Oh, I had a pair of U67s as room mics too, which didn't hurt!

                          The B.L.U.E. mics are my favorites. The Dragonfly is the best mic you can buy in it's $700 price range. That blue ball looks cool too.
                          I usually use a 57, Sennheiser 421, and maybe a condenser
                          like a Dragonfly or GT-66.
