well im a recent moster cable convert. i used to use whirlwind cables but now i use monster performer 500 jazz cables, they arent cheap but they have a life time warrenty so i think they are worth it. if you dont have the cash then whirlwind, george l's, planet waves and a bunch of others will work fine. i actually got a rh186 cable from gc a few weeks ago cause it was cheap and a buddy needed a cable and it seems to work fine. 18.5' for $15, gold contacts and hasnt died yet so thats good

Planet Waves. Great quality at a reasonable price.

George L's.... they have a website, not sure what it is though.... real high quality stuff, thats next on my purchase list.... you can even buy the length of cable you want, and the connectors you want, and put it together yourself.
'01 Gibson Les Paul Standard (stock BB V's)
        Squier Fat Strat (stock/duckbucker/stock)
        '66 Fender Bassman
        Fender Champion 600
        Fender Stage 100

Check into Canare cables. They are one of the really good cables out there but affordable. I think you can get them 0.51cents a foot.

Use some Neutrik Connectors with that and your set.

The model of the cable is GS-6.

I just bought a couple of the Planet Waves (a subsidiary of D'Addario) instrument cables with the 8 spring coils built into the plug shaft for a good solid connection to the output jack of a guitar, and I like 'em a lot.
Found 'em new on ebay for quite a bit lower than M-Friend's price, and from a seller who's currently running a dutch auction on them. I'll find the link and post it here for you if you're interested.

              Here you go:

George L's are also good, as well as making your own with the Neutrik connectors as was suggested above.

I agree. I've tried a few different less expensive cables and got lesser quality results in the long run. The jury's still out as far as how long the P W's will hold up, but I have noticed that my line noise was diminished a little bit.

I love George L's, though for some applications they're not quite hairy enough, if you get me.

I use Planet Waves. The ones with the cutout switch. Its proven pretty useful actually, and sound quality is excellent.
