It's funny, because when I learned to solder during my RAF trade training, it would all have to be like the OP picture, but when your Chief is yelling at you to get a radio back online, it's a case of 'Bigger the blob, better the job!'

My soldering these days is purely practical, rather than pushing for any aesthetic value, but I can appreciate some quality wiring porn.

Is this because you don't agree with my statements? I was just making a comment/observation. Was my comment about previous owners possibly doing some work on their guitars before you acquired them not applicable? It does happen. Besides, I could have made the same statement about you not knowing when to quit.

Are we limited to only a certain number of posts per thread? And then we're supposed to quit? I didn't know that. Give me the number and I'll seriously try to stay within the limit next time.
