  • Resurrected my 7

I took this Ibanez mutt apart about a year ago, sanded the top down to refinish it, and got distracted. I’m on vacation this week, so I decided to put it back together.

It’s ultra rough looking, and I didn’t feel like digging up a switch or pots, so it’s the stock Ibanez bridge pickup straight to the jack. Body is a 7321, neck is an MIJ 7621, and it sounds gnarly.

Get the electronics fixed in that thing ASAP...it is too cool to leave like that.

It may end up as a one pickup, one knob deal. We’ll see.

Think I’m finally gonna listen to you, and try out a Black Winter in it. For now, the crappy stock pickup is great for aggressive riffing.

The 7 string Black Winter does sound pretty excellent.

Seven string Distortion doesn't sound too bad either.
