That looks like some great glue to just keep around for general purposes.

For pvc
you dont really need glue
The cleaner, acetone, will soften the surface of both faces
Pressing them together would bond them

I forgot about acetone. That just might do the trick.

Remember that most multiply pickguards have a 45 deg bevel. Just gluing 2 finished guards together won't make for the most dramatic look. Its best sometimes just to buy the sheet, or go to pickguardian or the like

Yeah, I've got 45 deg router bits for both my Dremel and my main router. I've made my own pickguards before. I'll probably buy the sheets from GFS. They have good prices on thick material.
