    Extra special tone sauce

    I already have the build, the pickup, THE strap for superior tone!.... But I went the extra route today!

    The 17 Tribute has achieved its final form!

    I added the extra special tone sauce today in a wooden truss cover. Just thought I'd share.





    Now I need to order something for the LPJ because that truss rod cover is hideous!

        Maybe it's just because it doesn't match the rest of the headstock, but that truss rod cover looks gigantic!

            Is that truss rod cover book matched? Murphy aged? Nitro?

                Ha ha I looked for the Gibson authentic honey burst edition of this cover.... But had to settle for this $18 non branded one.... Don't tell Gibson please, they'll have that doofus guy make a horrible video about it!

                      Brown TR cover looks good on that guitar. It really does seem big though.
                      Perhaps because the edge isn't beveled?
                      Or maybe just because it's light colored.

                        Good thing you didn't find it, Gibson would have hit you for a couple hundred bucks for it...lol.
