What surprised me was that they have a couple of Les Pauls for sale. They appear to be stripped Gibsons going for between 1100USD and 1400USD depending on the model.
Would you guys buy one of those, or would you stay away? I ask because they have a LP with a lightly flamed top in an ice tea burst that may or may not be calling my name.

Pretty sure I know the seller and have bought from them.
I bought an SG husk from them, it ended up being a great deal because I had all the parts on hand and it turned out great.
Their service and communication, however, is absolute crap. So if you have any kind of problem with your order, resolution is a total PIA. Ask me how I know.Originally posted by FranklyPoorMan knows what everyone deserves. Everyone knows that.Originally posted by DiocletianHi John Jolly. I like you a lot. If you would enjoy some sex please contact me. Maybe we could discuss the Les Paul guitar during it. I would like that.

Around $1400 for the body/neck. $100 for tuners, $50 for tom/tailpiece; $80 wiring harness, $250 pickups, $30 knobs/rings… add another $200 if you’re going to have the local luthier set it up…
of course all these can be had for more or less, but a ballpark. Or you might set it up yourself.
doesn’t seem to be the best or worst deal. Just depends on the used stuff you see or have access to. I’ll see a Les Paul classic on marketplace for $1700 then later on on eBay some dude is selling a ‘70’s deluxe that he believes is worth $7000.

It is kinda like buying a guitar on a payment plan. But as a seller, it seems like a lot of work to strip and sell a guitar piece by piece.Administrator of the SDUGF
