8 string guitar. Two truss rods side-by-side. I get the why - the neck is very wide. Question is, are there any dangers/risks to adjusting these? Like should you only do 1/4 turn on each, alternating between the two? Or can you have different relief for the high side and low side? I did email the vendor but we'll see if they respond.

Despite have a narrow neck, Rickenbackers have 2 truss rods. I treat any instrument with 2 truss rods basically the same - small turns for each one to get the desired adjustment. It's handy to be able to have more relief on the bass side as opposed to the treble.aka Chris Pile, formerly of Six String Fever
