  • Anynody get a J Mascis Tele around this joint yet?

I am kind of jonesing for a decent Tele lately, found a few I like but I haven't been inspired enough to pull the trigger but I happened across one of the Bottle Rocket Blue J Mascis Road Worn sigs today and well I am smitten

I LOVED the neck, felt absolutely perfect, the blue sparkle got me all googly eyed too lol

I like everything about it, though personally I'm not a fan of top-loaders, but that is minor. A good Tele is always a good Tele.

The neck is damn near perfect and they just feel freat

toploader wouldn’t be my first choice but it’s so smooth playing I have no issues with it

I am probably going to grab one soon, really digging it

Well I went to check it out again and I was expecting to leave with it but shocking to me I did not.

I still think it is a fantastic guitar but in the end the frets were just too jumbo for me. I could get used to them but I'd probably end up doing a deep cut and re-level/crown on them and I just wasn't up for it.

            Next...lol

Frets can be too big? I don't think I understand.
