I have a Fender Player Mustang body that I’m looking to either change the saddles on, or swap the bridge entirely. I’m not a fan of the bent steel saddles that it comes with stock. I was inspired in upgrading the bridge to a Hipshot after I had read about someone doing it with an Offset Series Mustang.
After looking around, I’m finding some wildly different numbers for what the string spacing could be. Some list it as 2-7/32, some list it as 2-3/16, others say 2-1/16 and another said it was 51.5mm. I don’t have a set of calipers, hence why I haven’t checked. I’m just interested in trying to get some answers on this. If anyone has any insight into this, it would be greatly appreciated
