Apparently Silky Oak IS Lacewood (googled it)

I've never heard the term 'silky oak' before. Weird. Usually you see lacewood as laminated tops, and it has that reptile skin thing going on. I like it.

It's not a bad looking (or playing/sounding guitar). I've actually jammed on it at a store down the road. It looks way better than that ^^ pic in person too. Having said that it's not too far removed from my Gio looks-wise, give or take a little binding & some pockmarks

I still prefer the look of the Premium & as I've said and stand by 100%, the current Premium's are on 'the same level' as the Prestige's as far as pretty much everything is concerned.... workmanship/fretwork/materials /hardware/pups and w/e else imo (& It's not just me saying that either) They're just more eye catching/prettier
