Re: what would be a good amp in this price range?
I know I shouldn't be saying this since I haven't tried it out personally but really try the Randall MTS system, it's all tube and you can get various tones by using different modules, plus the tube bias is easy to use so you won't have to buy any matched sets. The soundclips I've heard from this amp are incredible. Note that the 100W head doesn't have reverb but the 50W does.
