Well I play rock, hard rock, metal, and punk. Stratdeluxer (John) said I would like the Marshall Jackhammer pedal. So I'm checking one of those out. You could get a SD-1 and have it modded. Or maybe get a DS-1 and have that modded. I haven't read a bad review yet of John's mods to pedals. Unless I missed one, but I dont think I have.

Do you have a good wah, those can be useful sometimes.

For chorus, I use a DOD because it was all I could afford, but there's better ones out there and I'm sure someone will recommend something better than my DOD. Actually, I'm not recommending to get a DOD. It's ok, but there's definately better ones out there

            HTH,

The Super OD is a great pedal for the buck, with a tighter bass response it would be great.

The Super Chorus is awesome also! Gives great chorus!

If you want another pedal, grab a wah!

Pretty much the only effects I like or use are delay, phaser, and volume pedal. Well, and wah when others use it, but no matter how much I play around with one, I can never get it to fit my style. Chorus is way overused IMO.

                        Re: PedalS!!!

I use a lot of effects in my songs. A good chorus to grab is the US Electro Harmonix Small Clone. For some reason, I have an affinity towards Ibanez stompboxes. I own the Ibanez CF-7 Chorus/Flange (I use mine as a dedicated chorus pedal) and an Ibanez PM-7 Phase Modulator. I picked up my CF-7 used for 20 bucks and I love the sounds I can get out of it. The PM-7 is also a good pedal in my opinion, with 3 different wave types and also 3 different voicings, but it takes a little more tweaking to get a good sound out of it.

I use the Crybaby Jimmi Hendrix wah. I like it because the operating frequency range is lowered, causing a more mid-range scoop. Charvel, if you've got any questions about effects (or anyone for that matter) drop me a PM and i'll get back to you all. Effects are one thing I have a lot of experience with
