I like 5150's, somehow they sound musical and insane at the same time. For your style of music unless your willing to drop some serious cash, nothing can do it better IMO!

I was thinking about a Marshall. I saw a 2x12 cab used at GC the other day, maybe I'll check that out. Thanks!

I'm not sure yet, but I want a 2x12 cab. I was thinking about an Avatar cab, or maybe even a Marshall. Peavey makes a 2x12 for the XXX but I haven't heard anything about it.

Well I don't live in a country setting, but I haven't had problems with the neighbors. Of course now that might be a different story.

Judging by your style of music your going to love that amp. I had a 5150 for a while and really liked it. They are a little noisey but the tones you can get out of them are really thick. Does the mid heavey and scooped metal sounds equally well. Really versatile on the heavey channel. What cab are you going to be using with it?

Congrats - I am sure that once it's with you you'll get some massive tones - now all you need is a couple of stacks and you'll be away. One slight problem hope you live somewhere out in the country because I would hate to live next door to you when you crank that thing up and let it rip

Thanks Bones! I play hardcore, punk, pop punk, rock, metalcore, you get the idea...I don't play in a band at the moment, but I wanted something that I could get a variety of tones out of.
