  • Dunlop Cry Baby Mini (NAMM 2015)

Dunlop shrunk the wah to half size and gave it three voices via an internal switch. Being the wah addict I am I'm quite excited for it and am sold already.

Look how cute the little guy is...

    Uh wut?

Ok actually, that's kinda cool. I'd like a wah with a smaller footprint. Seems like it might be awkward under the foot though.

Seems like you would need a very hard soled shoe to make that work and not be uncomfortable.

That seems pretty cool too. Someone in the Youtube comments for the CryBaby Mini made a good point though. If its on a pedalboard with another row of pedals above or below it, you'd likely hit them if you're using it the way they suggest. The pedal itself is taking up less real estate, but your foot is the same size no matter what, so it's kinda pointless. In that situation at least. I'll reserve full judgement for real world experience first.

That size crybaby is perfect for the Pedaltrain Nano or other similar pedalboard that's a single row.

Yep. Kind of crazy that Dunlop introduced it, not some smaller boutique company.

AMT is being doing a mini wha pedal for some years, with 3 voicing options too. This one however is more traditional design.
