  • TC Electronic HOF Mini Reverb review

As long as you don't want spring reverb, or need to switch between reverb types often, this thing is great. Play around with the Toneprints until you find something you like (I'm currently addicted to the "Bad Boys" toneprint from Sune Rose Wagner) and you're good to go.

But holy crap, it has one of the worst spring reverbs I've ever heard.

    How's the plate 'verb?
    Nope...

I've only played with the default Plate toneprint (though Bad Boys *might* be a Plate; I'm honestly not sure) and it was pretty decent. I think I may prefer the plate setting on my RV-2, though.

I like mine quite a bit. Here's my review:
Effects: distortion, overdrive, chorus, delay, whammy, loopers, compressors, boosters and everything else.
        Oh no.....

        Oh Yeah!

I'm looking forward to digging into the editor. But I can already tell that this is earning a permanent spot on my board. It takes up so little space and does exactly what I need it to do. Which, admittedly, isn't a lot.
