That is a beautiful board. Even though mine's a rat nest in comparison, I wish I had the ES-8

Minor mods to my main board today. Johnny Marr's tone on his recent live album convinced me to try a Diamond Compressor, but even their "Junior" wouldn't fit in the space vacated by the old Dyna Comp. Mooer Yellow Comp to the rescue. Initial reports are positive; this may finally be a compressor I can get along with.

The pink paisley Rat got new knobs. The old beige ones looked classy against the paisley's background but they were too hard to see. Visibility is not a problem with these big, black Fulltone knobs.

Finally got my new toys and went to town on the pedal board. Here's what it looked like before:

          And here it is now:

Added rubber feet for to fit power Supply (gives me barely 1 mm of ground clearance now)

          Power supply mounted

Strap for securing the ridonculus river of cables

All revved up and ready to go

Top right is Smooth Hound Wireless. Sounds great, but glitchy DC input. Will have to send it back for a replacement.

            nnnnnnn...GAAAAAHHH!!!!!!

I just couldn't do it. As big a Boss fan as I am, after playing the BB Preamp for several years, I just couldn't settle for the SD-1 any more. So I had to switch back. It doesn't look as good (that one stompbox on the end of the line of Boss pedals drives my O.C.D. nuts), and it's harder to stomp, but it just SOUNDS so good.

This is IT. I'm done for a while. Got new songs to learn, and only 5 or 6 months to prepare for this year's gig.

...because the Boss pedals should go on the top row and the stomp switch ones on the bottom.

I'll also be getting a phaser (or a vibe), a wah, new cables (Lava Tightrope. Wish me luck), and room for just one more mini pedal... What shall it be?

Phase 95 is certainly interesting... I think I'll get a mini /fuzz/ though. I already have 3 ODs and 2 boosters.

                        What flavor of fuzz?

ZVex Fuzzalo, Lovepedal Bonetender, Mooer Triangle all look like fun mini fuzz pedals. I'm also a huge fan of all the Dunlop mini Fuzz Face pedals.

At least I keep my bare feet out of the copious pedalboard photos.

Maybe you could post a daily picture of the board with a newspaper of the day.
