I'm not familiar with Van Damme, so I can't compare. But I have a few Evidence cables and they are very transparent with low capacitance. And they wear very well.

There are a few choices at that tier: Van Damme, Evidence Audio, Lava, Divine Noise, Van den Hul, I have Lava Clear Connect II and Divine Noise cables, but found the Lava to be delicate when gigging. Divine Noise cables are nigh indestructible.

I would love to try Evidence one day as I have heard great things about those cables.
