I got another Airis Effecs pedal, and this one, this one is very nice!
The Massacre Drive is the Cory Arford of Carnifex signature Overdrive from Airis Effects featuring 3 knobs and 2 switches.
Grit - essentially a gain knob
Force - Output level control knob
Hiss - 10 +/- active treble boost/cut good for taming strats, or brightening up a Les Paul!
Diode Switch - This changes the clipping diodes of the pedal, in the up position it is more dynamic and less compressed. The bottom position gives you a slightly more clipped/compressed tone with an even warmer character thanks to a silicon and NOS germanium diode and the middle position removes the diodes completely. This gives you more volume, less compression and more dynamics.
Tight Switch - the tight switch well.. Tightens your tone. In the top position it is the least tight (which is still extremely tight) and gives you the most meat to your tone, the down position tightens things up more without losing too much beef. The center position is the tightest of tight. If you have a muddy guitar, this will clean it up immensely.
