  • Commencing pedalboard built

Instead of buying a pedaltrain board at around 130 I decided to use my free time to built my own

The materials for this total 30 and I've begun to work out the measurements

cool - more rewarding than buying one pre-made and of course have the exact specs/measurements you want

Will be finalising measurements and cutting it out in a few days, then I will stain it and apply the Velcro tape to secure the pedals, the measurements are pretty much the same as a pedaltrain classic pro since that's the board that accommodates just enough so my board has plenty of space for additional pedals I may add, the board will measure 40x80 cm and the gaps in between the rails will be 1.5 inches while the rails will be 2.5inch excluding the bottom rail due to additional strength requirements.

Love to see pics of this build in process. The PT boards are expensive.

I have a pedaltrain mini. If you need a measurement, let me know

I will document it if that would be interesting for people to view, everything from the final sketch which is already complete to cutting to assembly to staining and then the finishing touches
