I have a Hermida (Lovepedal) EPH-3 delay and it is a really nice delay pedal. It has an FET preamp as part of its circuit (I assume this is true, since the Lovepedal website says "FET Preamp!").
Hypothetically, would it be possible to modify this thing to give it a volume knob? If so, could it BOOST the signal, or only cut it? Right now it has no effect on the volume at all one way or another but if it could boost then I could use it for more than just dreamy echoes when I want to play clean.
I Googled all over and cannot find a schematic of this pedal or a photo of the circuit. It's the kind of pedal where the pcb is at the bottom facing up, so I'd have to disassemble the pedal completely to even look inside, which is why this is just in the "is it possible...?" phase. If it IS possible to turn this thing into a signal booster then I will take mine apart so we can see what's actually in there. I'm open to modifying it myself if it's easy and obvious, and I'm open to having someone else do it if it's difficult or complicated.
