  • Boss GT-8 Rust Bucket Makeover

So I've had this GT-8 for like 15 years or so. Sounds scary counting the years out like that!
Sure there are newer things out on the market but I've learned this thing inside out, it's given me all the sounds I've ever wanted and I love the physical knobs.

But I thought it was time for a refresh (or un-refresh?) cosmetically to suit my style these days.

Enter a sander, a cocktail of vinegar, salt and hydrogen peroxide and we're good to go!

First of all this is what they normally look like:

The rust is still growing in spots but a lot of the surface is still primer.
Once it's in a place where I'm happy I'll apply a clear coat to seal it in and prevent it totally disintegrating.

      Hope you enjoyed
