    I have no idea. I bought it off someone on the forum probably 6 years ago. It works killer straight into a tube style amp. Running both sides together gets into what many consider to be distortion territory.
    I have been known to use it to goose a distortion pedal. Or put it in front of a clean boost.

      IME, they both have about the same amount of mids. There's not enough of a difference to make it really obvious. Between the two, I prefer the 808. It's got a smoother drive, a little bit more in the low mids and IME,a bit more girth. A great overdrive.
