Replacing three-screw Fender DH-1 humbucker

Hi! I want to replace the bridge humbucker in my Fender HSS Deluxe Strat, currently a Fender DH-1, with a Custom Custom trembucker. Problem is the DH-1 is mounted to the pickguard with three screws, and on the side where there are two screws (supposedly for tilt adjustment), they are a lot farther apart than the outside screw holes on the Duncan pickup...

What's the solution for this? Are there conversion brackets or something like that available? I could of course buy a new pickguard, but that would be pretty expensive (especially as I'm rather keen on the mint green one that's on right now).

I had this problem with a Carvin Bolt guitar. I just drilled another hole between the two that were already there in the pickguard. This does leave two visible empty hole in your pickguard though.

That's what I did. Chessy? YES! I filled the holes from the bottom with some off white caulk. It looked better and took away some of the chessiness factor....

You can also glue a couple of shortened screws into the holes -- looks either cheesy or kinda cool, depending on your view. It will at least make people wonder what kind of pickup you've got in there with all those screws. I've got this arrangement on 2 Teles, and it doesn't bother me -- it may even be the source of all of the tone...

I did the same thing when i had my strat and i did not think it made much differecnce as for the looks of it. No big deal but thats just me.
