    I have a G&L Invader I bought off Ebay.

This one came with the JB trembucker and two Hotrails.
The middle hotrail was defective, so I replaced it with a regular
single coil. I actually like that combo a lot better, since the middle allows you to have those nice 2 and 4 pos. sounds, but
the hotrail in the neck sounds as hot as the JB.
I'd do that. Find a hotrail or coolrail, or other hot single for the neck. If you ever change that JB out, put a C-5 in there.

TB 4 vs. G&L Single Coils

    Hello,

I have a G&L Legacy Deluxe with a Seymour Duncan TB 4 Humbucker in the bridge, and G&L vintage style Alnico V single coils in the middle and neck positions. The output of the singles are so low in comparison to the humbucker, they cannot be used together. When playing with my band, when I switch to the single coils, the guitar is basically inaudible.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks,

    Mike
