How come newer SD pickups labels don't list the initial of the builder?

The older ones I have are usually the pickup name followed by a single letter indicating the builder. On a nerwer trembucker the label has four numbers after the pickup name and then underneath that there is a 3 letter code with a 2 digit number.

Who can crack the codes?
