  • Les Paul Pickup

i want to swap out the bridge pickup in my les paul studio. the stock pickup in it sounds too scooped. im looking for something with a good amount of midrange without alot of high end bite. i've been looking at the Dimarzio Evolution and the Duncan Custom. i want a dark, thick sound with some old school Metallica crunch. any suggestions on these or other models?

i am not sure about teh old school metallica crunch but if you are looking for a smooth bridge pickup with lots of mids try the CC (custom custom) same as te duncan custom but with an A2 mag instead of ceramic

The Custom should make you very happy by your description of what you are looking for.
