I posted this over at the Les Paul Forum, but I haven't gotten any replies.
I know Gibson makes the '57 Classic Plus. But, does the regular '57 Classic come in a different neck and bridge model, or is the same pickup used in both positions.
In other words, if I buy a Gibson equipped with '57 Classics, like the '61 SG re-issue, are the pickups in the neck and bridge exactly the same? Or, are they like many pickups, such as Seymour Duncan's '59, where the neck and bridge model of the same pickup are slightly different?
