  • Jazz neck + matches

Well, right now I have a 59 in the neck and a CC in the bridge.
I want to change the 59 to nickel to improve the look.

I'm strongly considering changing to the Jazz.

Will the jazz be good for blues? I don't see why it wouldnt--i think it would be perfect.

    For the bridge..
I keep changing my mind, over and over and over.

I was thinking 59b, because i heard it was awesome, but I still want power and harmonics (59 had power, but i dont know how much harmonics)..i want it to sound good clean AND dirty. That's why I'm considering changing the CC...because the cleans arent doing it for me. The dirty is a great classic rock tone, but I want something that does classic rock, modern rock, (mostly the second) plus blues...and I want some harmonics easily available...

obviously the JB is a popular match, but how well will it do with cleans and blues (think bbking style slowhand clean or slightly dirty)

and it has to have a nickel cover available!

I have a chambered Les Pual (Jay Turser).

    What do you guys think?

It sounds to me like you want a C5/Seth Lover set.
