Re: Next Tone Chart: EQ in Numbers? Or Bars?

I'd like to see 5 bars, only laid out how Duncan usually does it. Just add 1 or 2 bars to give a better shape of tone from low to high. If you add 2 more bars, it's closer to the type of EQ curve sheet you get with a highend microphone. It makes sense to imagine it in your guitar, as well.

This vote is so close we might have start counting the dangling chads...

        DITTO...

the bars are great for quick comparisons...but people trying to package something together tight will want numbers as well.

Bars and numbers. You can't go wrong.

But if it was just ONE, I'd go with numbers. You can still draw it as bars over a sheet of paper...

5 bars laid out how you do it now, with numbers written inside them.

              For example, the C-5
              7///////
              6//////
              4////
              4////
              8////////

              JB

              7///////
              8////////
              7///////
              6//////
              5/////
