Re: distortion neck in the bridge?
Pretty cool actually. Not a whole lot of bass- just enough, but it's clear because of the lower output, and VERY raw. I nice snarling midrange to it. I still prefer the Custom though.Originally posted by Pink Unicorn HorseyDumbness on massive idiocy with the stupid dumb-dumbnity of ridiculous WTFation in the dumbass of you-idiot.Originally posted by Sosomething"How do I improve the tone of my ThrasherKidzz-O-Blaster combo??"
The answer is always "burn it, dumbass."

I've used the 59' neck in the bridge of a guitar, and it was very cool. I think it works better than a bridge pup in the neck.

I had a Gibson 490R in the bridge for awhile, it was pretty decent too. Maybe a bit ice-picky but I like the midrange profile, and it was still pretty smooth.Originally posted by Pink Unicorn HorseyDumbness on massive idiocy with the stupid dumb-dumbnity of ridiculous WTFation in the dumbass of you-idiot.Originally posted by Sosomething"How do I improve the tone of my ThrasherKidzz-O-Blaster combo??"

It will probably sound cool. The clean tone might be a little cleaner.
I have not tried it, but I have put a small ceramic magnet in a DD and that was pretty cool too.
